Yes, my animation company is Manchester based. I work locally and with clients all over the world, from Norway to Grand Cayman.

What types of animation services do you offer?

I offer a wide range of animation services including promos, explainer videos, brand animations, social media content, infographic animations, and educational animations.

How much do you charge for animation?

Every project is different. Costs depend on numerous factors including length, animation complexity, script writing, voiceover and music. Drop me a line for a quote.

Can you help with scriptwriting and storyboarding?

Absolutely! I can assist with all stages of the animation process, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, design, and animation to ensure a cohesive and engaging final product. For more complex requirements I collaborate with one of my trusted scriptwriters.

Do you offer other animation related services?

Yes, I offer illustration, scriptwriting, voiceovers and storyboarding in addition to animation.

Do you collaborate with other creatives?

Yep, it depends on the project. Sometimes I work independently or other times I might bring in talented collaborators from my go-to team of audio designers, voiceover artists, illustrators, and animators.

What is the process for starting an animation project?

Can I make revisions to the animation?

Yes, revisions are a part of the process. I typically include a set number of revisions at each stage (script, storyboard, and animation) to ensure you are happy with the final product.

Can you animate existing graphics and illustrations?

Definitely! If you already have graphics or illustrations, I can animate them to bring your static designs to life.

What file formats will I receive?

You will receive the final animation in the format(s) you need, such as MP4, MOV, GIF, or a Lottie file suitable for your intended platforms (e.g., website, social media, presentations).

What information do you need from me to start the project?

I'll need details about your target audience, key messages, brand guidelines, and any specific ideas or examples you have in mind. This helps ensure the animation aligns with your vision and objectives. The process begins with a kick-off meeting where we delve into these details.

Does it matter if I’m not based in Manchester?

Not at all! While I have animation clients based in Manchester, the majority of my work is done remotely through regular Zoom meetings.

What software do you use for animation projects?

The creative work is carried out in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects. I also use a number of other tools to make the process as smooth as possible for my clients, such as Boords for storyboarding and Vimeo for sharing animation progress. Both these platforms allow you to easily feedback on specific storyboard frames or timecode in the animation.
